India vs England Test series

England v Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI, Lord's

Stuart Broad, who was fined 50% of his match fee for showing "serious dissent" during another wicketless display in the second match, retains his place in a seam quartet that also includes James Anderson, Tim Bresnan and Jade Dernbach, with Graeme Swann the solitary specialist spinner.

Alastair Cook won the toss for the second match running, but this time chose to bat on a sunny morning at Lord's, as England sought to bounce back from Friday's 69-run defeat at Headingley.

After the failure of their pursuit of 310 at Leeds, England resisted the temptation to tinker with their line-up, with Cook and Craig Kieswetter once again set to open the innings with Jonathan Trott pencilled in at No. 3, despite familiar criticism of his tempo during a dour innings of 39 from 54 balls.

Sri Lanka go into the match full of confidence after a dominant display at Headingley, in which Mahela Jayawardene recorded his 15th and highest ODI century - a brilliant 144 from 150 balls that more than atoned for the failure of their top-order during the opening match at The Oval.
